Cancellation and change policy - Adapt Academy
These conditions apply to all trainings, workshops and masterclasses of Adapt Academy.
1. Cancellation by participant
Cancellation must be made in writing (by email).
Cancellation is free of charge up to 14 calendar days before the start date.
For cancellation between 14 and 7 calendar days before the start date, 50% of the participation fee is due.
For cancellation within 7 calendar days before the start date, or in case of no-show, 100% of the participation fee is due.
2. Statutory cooling-off period (consumers)If the participant is a consumer, a statutory cooling-off period of 14 days after booking applies.
If the training takes place within this period and the participant explicitly agrees to immediate performance, the right of withdrawal lapses.
3. Rescheduling participation
Rescheduling to another date is possible free of charge up to 7 calendar days before the start date, subject to availability.
After this deadline, rescheduling is not possible and the full amount remains due.
4. Participant replacement
The participant may be replaced free of charge by another person, provided this is communicated in writing in advance.
5. Cancellation or changes by Adapt Academy
Adapt Academy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule an activity in case of insufficient participants or force majeure.
In case of cancellation, the paid amount will be fully refunded or the participant may join another session free of charge.
Adapt Academy is not liable for indirect damages, such as travel and accommodation costs.
6. Force majeure
Force majeure means circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Adapt Academy, including trainer illness, outages, government measures, or other unforeseen situations.
In case of force majeure, Adapt Academy will make reasonable efforts to offer a suitable alternative.
7. Custom and in-company programmes
For custom and in-company training programmes, the agreements set out in the quotation or contract apply.
8. Applicable law
These conditions are governed by Dutch law.
Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
